Most likely the Ford Rangers will use lead acid batteries. Considering the predicted range of 50 miles plus the fact that Ford is building the vehicles, it is unlikely to be using NIMH.

At the Jan. 27th stockholders meeting...

PROPOSAL TO AMEND THE COMPANY'S CERTIFICATE OF INCORPORATION TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF AUTHORIZED SHARES OF COMMON STOCK FROM 20,000,000 TO 30,000,000

As more fully described below, the purpose of the Common Stock Proposal is to make available additional shares of Common Stock for future corporate transactions. Such additional shares may be used by the Company for stock issuances in the future if the Company determines to enter into strategic joint ventures or collaborative business arrangements, to seek additional equity financing or to establish additional employee or director equity compensation plans or arrangements. The Company has no present plan to issue the additional shares of Common Stock to be authorized pursuant to the Common Stock Proposal.

As indicated below, the Board of Directors strongly believes that the Common Stock Proposal is in the best interests of the Company and its stockholders.
