Re. We closed over $50. Does anyone care?

Way to go! High fives all around! It has been a long struggle back, but we've made it.

I consider $50 to be the real previous all-time high. It was $100 pre-split for a couple of days at the end of Jan. The $110 level (or $55 post-split) was a brief inter-day high, on speculation that IBM was going to pass it's PC mfg. operations to DELL. Then as we all know, it crumbled fast on Niles' warnings.

Dell always delivers to the long-term investors. We'll probably get a 1999 calendar year increase of +40% on Dell, which is reasonable, sustainable, and justifiable, and not likely to evaporate as fast as some dotcom stock's appreciation.

Happy Holidays Dorine and Herb
