Which might give pause for thought amongst those who thought QCOM were going to conquer the handset world last year.

By the way - the 'phone is PHS, a technology that has been poopoohed on this thread many times over.

bruce: As I recall, you know a bit - quite a bit - about Brazil and Latin America. Do you know about KYO's presence in Brazil? And the Q has a manufacturing presence there. Wonder how the latter will be handled in this - if at all? And if not what the relationships will be? Curious. Chaz
