Re: Cisco
Just received an update from my ISP. Myself and many others were having trouble for months and thought it was related to Bell Atlantic.

Here is the message:
**** Lancaster ****
We have been experiencing sporadic routing issues at our Lancaster POP. At random times members calling our 581-1984, 393-4629 and 391-3960 numbers might have experienced problems connecting to internet sites and
other services. After many long hours of working with Cisco top level engineers to diagnose the problem, we were able to fix this issue by installing the latest engineering release of the router software.

It was Cisco routers causing the trouble for months. I thought their equipment was perfect but I was wrong. I particularly like the part "after many long hours of working with Cisco". I wonder how many hundred irate customers of this ISP got this message naming the culprit.
