"Major development" could also include announcement of a strategic partnership with a better-known company than Zeiss or Leica (say in the medical arena - for example, Medtronic). Or formal acknowledgement of inclusion of MVIS tech in Boeing's JSF contender (if the rumours are true). Many of the most exuberantly-valued stocks are in no major index. I believe your index funds reference is a red herring. Look at CORL for goodness sakes. I'm not suggesting we want this type of action in MVIS. The key is the "hot stocks" rage right now. MVIS will go onto that list the second they formally announce a cellphone (even a prototype) with builtin VRD. Right now the state of the art if 8 lines of LCD text. btw, what do you mean by "valuation basis" ?
