Gottfried, thread, from one high flyer to another (don't have a URL):

NEW YORK, Dec 23 (Reuters) - Lehman Brothers said Thursday it had ``slightly reduced' its position in Cisco
Systems Inc. (NasdaqNM:CSCO - news) and put the proceeds into Applied Materials Inc. (NasdaqNM:AMAT - news)
in its U.S. strategy portfolio for 2000.

Lehman also said in a research note that it was selling its entire position in Schering-Plough Corp. (NYSE:SGP - news)
and putting the proceeds into Clear Channel Communications Inc. (NYSE:CCU - news), Qwest Communications
International Inc. (NasdaqNM:QWST - news) and Primus Telecommunications Group Inc. (NasdaqNM:PRTL - news)

Not exactly sure I agree with them unless they're looking for the AMAT split. Of course, Cisco is not exactly averse to those either. I personally lov'em both.
