Nice name you got there, I hope you still have your shoes unlike Neiderhoffer. Silver can come in handy when you need the cash!

Your comments on the last week are interesting as I purchased an initial holding in CMVT. Who is the axe on Comverse?

I have been buying QCOM for the last 18 months and at this stage it is my biggest and best holding with a nice lock on third generation wireless (3G). Check out details on HDR (High Data Rate) webcast from their website.

Regards,

John

swell anecdote there, NN. you certainly have a gift for the gab, my friend.

I-ROB-U for three players, eh? hey, sounds like a fair deal in tonnage.

did you get wind of the Kazuhiro Sasaki deal (japan's leading closer)? my mom's from puddle city, so i kinda grew up an M's fan. all over the tokyo newspapers.

btw, you should check out SAFECO field if you ever get out to seattle. that Futurama looks like it could liftoff at any moment. i asked my old man to snap a photo when they implode the Big Whopper (i.e., Kingdome). it's an eyesore, reminiscent of my commies-love-concrete theory, but still holds a few sentimental moments ... like seeing RUUUUUppert Jones step up to the plate as a wee lad and wondering why the crowd was booing him.

re: Cocker, all i gotta say is that if the Beastie Boys can finally formally apologize in Time Out New York for the homophobic raps on their very first adolescent album, Licensed to Ill, then there's still hope for that clown. to wit: "There are no excuses. But time has healed our stupidity."

little known tip: the B-Boys instrumental effort, In Sound From Way Out, is a genius of blaxploitation. put on this platter the next time you're lounging in your crib with your pre-party crowd. guaranteed Manhattan street cred for NN (and no one will be the wiser that it's from those brilliant Jewish kids straight outta Brooklyn!). trust me on this one, it's like dope:

speaking of street cred, Skywalker (that's Lehman's Tim Luke for those from another galaxy) tops my short CMVT list, although Goldman's Elan Zivotofsky wields a deft lightsaber too.
