BCE implied volatility hits all-time high.

Congratultions to the Greennline customer who sold those two BCE Feb 140 calls yesterday...they were an all-time high for implied vol for Bell (Charlie Watts drum-roll) -- 52%! Maybe not Bre-X levels, but I can remember trading Bell at 9%. Maybe I should say 'so far'. There doesn't seem to be any let-up in the public's demand for Bell options.

The coming year is going to bring big changes. The obvious one is the move of options trading to Montreal. I'm sure there will be surprises along the way as well.

Happy New Year and happy trading.
