G'day all - hi Manzanillo, thanks for the update. SSB is definitely low balling it [personally, I am fine with that, since it is better to aim lower than higher so the stock has more staying power <G>!]

Here is how I see it. Valuation of PRISM is fine. Actually, considering NT getting 1% at $10MM, the valuation is quite generous. The differences are Venture and Services. Venture is valued at $1.5B. This is way below its peers. Ok, granted its peers are *purer* plays and are quite overpriced, Venture has put in that much $ [~$1.5B since 86] So, SSB is simply making a cost assignment here. Also, two of the CDO services are continuity and disaster recovery, both of which are the *infrastructure services* for e-biz, the equivalence of what picks and shovels equipment to telecom industries. Finally, CDO is still doing a good bit of leasing [can we say "outsourcing?"] These are growth areas. So, forward p/e of ~28 suggest it is merely market norm.

Salomon Raises Comdisco Target $12 To $52, Reiterates Buy (CDO)

(NewsTraders.com)-- Comdisco Inc. (CDO), a provider of technology planning and asset management services, today had its price target increased to $52 from $40 by Salomon Smith Barney, according to a source at the brokerage house.

Salomon continues to rate shares of the Rosemont, Ill.-based company at "buy."

Further information wasn't readily available.

Separately, U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray today hiked his price objective on Comdisco shares to the $45-to-$50 range, while reiterated a "strong buy" rating, as reported by NewsTraders.

Yesterday after market close Comdisco said that first-quarter earnings would top analysts' forecasts. The company also announced that it plans to create a tracking stock for its Comdisco Ventures unit.

Condisco shares recently traded down $1.06 at $38.94.
