I used to shoot a lot. A brick of .22s has 500 and when they were on sale I'd buy 8-10 bricks. Plus a couple of cases of duck loads every year for down at the club. A case of goose loads. Skeet and trap, not hard to burn 1,000 rounds a week there. Even with reloading the cases wear out so you need new shells for the hulls. Then for plinking I needed .44s, .357s, .22-250s, .223s, 7mms and I also bought several cases of army surplus .30-06s for the Garand. Then there is the FFg and FFFg needed for the front stuffers.
