Baldwin, Thank you very much for your response. I do complete alot of research on my own. The questions that I bring up are trying to sift through the barrage of info. Trying to see thru the trees in the forest. I know for a fact that this Bell Atlantic announcement has the potential to be huge for TLAB's. The point is that it was lost yesterday with the Salix buyout. Many times the fundementals of TLAB's get lost. That is the reason for the simplistic questions. Just trying to open a discussion and always verify the basic fundementals. I do still want to ask for help as to how all the recent aquisitions fit together. It will be interesting how quickly and easily the Coherent,Netcore,IBM optical group and now Salix engineering groups work together. More importantly how the R&D groups can mesh together each piece to a cost effective PROFITABLE offering. If anyone gets access to a research report that discusses this please post it.
