Well, I have the best gift of all so far, having my family together. We go into this gift giving frenzy at Christmas, and really, it's mostly little things. When I was growing up, my family wasn't well off and though we couldn't afford much, my father would just flood the living room with small, inexpensive gifts. He would wrap things like those big Hershey bars and put them under the tree. We usually got just one "big" gift. Now, it's sort of a tradition now. You never know what kind of thing you're liable to find under our Christmas tree. I picked up little "Altoid" miniature tins and have wrapped them, gum, candy, drug store items, etc. My dad used to box & wrap silver dollars for everyone (he collected coins) and now I do the same from his collection that he left. Last year, I boxed and wrapped circa 1870's gold coins for the "kids" from their "Grandpa"....I always have to save stuff like that for last, 'cause that's when I start getting tearful.....<g>
