wm, I think you are confusing yourself. Your original point was Europe made the right move by mandating a single digital standard, and the US should have followed suit. What does this have to do with reverting back to analog? I would have to do that whether we had a single digital standard in the US or not. My point was that in Europe,you have a pan European digital service. This isn't true in the US. The original post implied that Europe (and NOK) was somehow backward. As far as digital cellular services goes, this is clearly not the case
