Are the new RIG shares being traded yet? The ones that SLB holders get? Looks like moving up to the S & P 500 is going to be a great antidote for new supply of shares.
I sold some RIG calls today. Wonder if I'll get a chance to buy them back?

RIG Situation ----
RIG being added to the S&P500 has certainly put a crimp in my dip! <G>

But I don't think the potential for a dip has been eliminated. Not at all. RIG is rising nicely and out-performing the sector just as would be expected since it will soon be an S+P500 company, but those 100+ million shrs aren't in play yet. Not all will be, since index funds, mimics, et al won't now be selling, but there will still be a sizable # of shrs for sale, imho. When they are, I expect we will see selling pressure. Not like it would have been, but potentially still substantial.

I'm disappointed that RIG won't be 'On Sale' in the way I'd expected, but still looking for a possibility of getting back in at a good price. ---Not in this century, but after the new shrs are out.

regards,
diana
