Robert my only gripe with VARL is their management is ultra conservative and somewhat overpaid for the size of the company. I have a new question and comment. What is the unit capacity for VARL in 2000? I heard figures that it is around 18-20 million. Since I estimate the handset device demand alone is at 400-500 million units worldwide in 1999 and is expected to grow at 30-40% why isn't management not scrambling to add capacity at a faster pace. I know they borrowed money in the past to do so but I do believe this rise in market value for VARL will enable them to do so in a private placement. Or even better I believe VARL may become an acquiror especially with their favorable stock price. I think MRM would make a great fit. They are in related businesses they compete directly in the mixer market so the companies could consolidate and it will add to precious factory space. What has happened to the thought of adding a contract manufacturer for their product? It was considered about three years ago with another company in China.
