I avoid weekends and bad weather. The worst are some of the barge wakes on the river. I've seen some that required going at barely above idle speed. And guys are out there in 12' jon boats.

I also fish with a guy who had a 17' Nitro with a 150. Waves didn't matter to him, he always went 60+. Also split the boat in half. Bass Pro will sponsor him next year with one of their best so that problem is solved.
