I wonder if a lot of margined investors are waiting until the first of the new year to sell, reduce their margins, and put off cap gains for another year? If so, there will be quite a bit of downward pressure. OTOH, I think there will be new money coming in if Y2K is a non-event. It will be interesting.

3% or 33% ? Fully margined ? Wow ! I wish I had too....too chicken to go beyond 20% ! Its interesting you say 15%. I'm cashing out, waiting for 50%. You've been right consistently....so maybe I should just jump in..... Thanks for your input Gene. I wish you all the very best...
