I wonder if a lot of margined investors are waiting until the first of the new year to sell, reduce their margins, and put off cap gains for another year? If so, there will be quite a bit of downward pressure. OTOH, I think there will be new money coming in if Y2K is a non-event. It will be interesting.

Its interesting you say 15%. I'm cashing out, waiting for 50%. You've been right consistently....so maybe I should just jump in.....
