"F5?s revenues and earnings significantly exceeded all analyst expectations last quarter, the first full quarter of operations after its IPO on June 4, 1999. 4Q99 earnings expectations were approximately -$0.05 per share while the company reported actual earnings at $0.11, blowing expectations away by $0.16. However, an even more impressive feat is the company?s year over year growth of revenues. 3Q99 revenues were 564% greater than the year earlier, while 4Q99 revenues grew 621% compared to the year earlier (notice the accelerating growth rate). While investors cannot expect this kind of growth forever, F5 should continue to grow revenues at a similar rate for at least the next 3-5 quarters. Additionally, I expect F5 to beat current Wall Street revenue expectations for this quarter of $12.3 million. If F5 beats expectations again, as I am predicting it will, look for the stock to make a major move. "
