RIG-- marc, I also assumed that if RIG were added to the S+P500 it would be after the new shrs were out. Imho, it would not have been smart to buy on spec that this index thing would happen when the new SLB-RIG shrs were hanging over RIG's future. I don't mind too much missing out when I think I made the smart move.

But anyway, I think we might get a good price yet.

SLB has approx 550 million shrs out.
At 1/5 new RIG shr per SLB shr, that's 110 million new RIG shrs.

Another RIG idiot here...that RIG oversupply of shares theory sounded good to me, so I dumped my May 25 calls below 5 and my Jan 30 calls below 1. Left about five thousand on the table, almost half of which would have been tax-free (Roth). :-(
