There was an interesting development last year where ARM announced several agreements with companies like Lucent to use their ARM MPU as a single chip that would replace 3 chips in a disk drive. In fact, they went on to announce many similar agreements in other technologies. At the time, we talked about it, it was still a future thing that wouldn't materialize for sometime.

That time is nearing and ARMHY is up about 600% since that time. And then there were SAN's, and Sam mentioned Sandisk many times, and so on.

Yeah, there is value to be found, but just not in the same old places.

Regards,

Mark
