We'll see one of four scenarios in early January:

1. there will be Y2K problems, resulting in a selloff

2. there will be no Y2K problems, resulting in a "sell the rumour" selloff

3. there will be further deterioration of the bond, resulting in a selloff

4. there will be profit taking, resulting in a selloff
