RE the portfolio, I ended up not doing much differently. The extent of my hedge has been to not put any new money into the market since spring, although I've been tempted. On reflection, I'm satisfied with that. I have a friend who decided in January, 1998, that the bubble was just too onerous and he bailed on the market. He seems satisfied with his choice, too. As I look back at how generous Mr. Market has been since my friend bailed, I realize that I could take a Y2K hit on the order of 1929 and still be far ahead of where I would have been had I gotten out when he did, or even a year later. So I'm comfortable letting it ride. My best wishes to you and everyone for a safe, happy and prosperous new year. Karen
