what? you've never seen whale readings? and you call yourself a trader. no - I made them up so there's no reason for you to have seen them. It's an indicator that might perhaps be better viewed as a histogram. It measures the difference between price and a given moving average (the blue line) and keeps a simple range of that number (the bands). The MA itself is adjusted for some other things. Please let me know if you're interested in the formulas themselves, as I'm afraid it would be rather long and boring to go into the choices that make them up here. Shahar
