I know many on this thread do not watch volume, but it seems worth noting how light the trade is today. Yet, price would suggest that this is a big, important move.

Also, note the a/d, but the trade is so thin, I don't take much comfort in the improvement. Up volume is swamping down, but NYSE volume overall is nothing significant.

Of course, GZ's still long and that means that his shorter term view of the A/D must be positive. <g>

Rising in sympathy with the stock market, the yields on 30, 10 and 5 year Treasuries also ended the day in record territory. But the yield on 13-week bills actually dropped a lot. What do you make of it? Are there stock investors out there quietly stashing their profits away?

Lee, no i thought you were being serious and i was deeply offended and insulted (he he he, ho ho ho)

i am never going to post here again (he he he ho ho ho)

that's why IKE's thread volume has died, but don't we all forget our losers and remember out winners.

i am looking at the 15th on the nasdaq as being the bottom for the last wave five up, if you don't believe we are in a parabolic fifth just look at cmrc and icge.

however, i have one interpretation that today's open was the top of three and we are now doing a sideways consolidation and should have more rally for santa claus.

if i'm wrong, nevermind, this triple bounce off 4000 was it.

Lee,
with all due respect, I think you are being too rough on IQ.
I don't read his posts that closely, but he seems to be right much more often than not. And he advocates buying puts when supports are broken (calls when resistances are taken out). my guess is if he publishes a P/L sheet on his options, he's a clear winner. it's a matter of trading style. he doesn't ask anyone to read his thread.
