Lee, I suspect that many have done well this year in the market and will need to sell during the first quarter next year to pay taxes! If they sold more this year it just means more taxes to pay...

thanks Lee ..did take profits the past few weeks .. not trading much at all .. portfolio doing OK, but keeping cash on hand for January ..my biggest position right now is EGAN, and that's still not "big", although I do think it holds little risk and will continue to do well as it is not subject to interest rate jitters ..internet infrastuctures is where I'm most comfortable right now ... ..have a great holiday everyone!
