Did anyone attend that groundhog day conference?

I listened to it yesterday via vcall.com. It was quite interesting. First, Sam Wohlstadter didn't speak as scheduled, instead Jacob Wohlstadter spoke.

There were two new revelations of interest:
1) Roche is launching a modular system for very high volume testing sites (like LabCorp) that includes an E170 module which incorporates IGEN's ECL technology. I believe this will eventually lead to a substantial increase in royalties (assuming Roche ever pays them).

2) Tricorder. They announced that they have built something called the "origen tricorder". This is a handheld analyzer, complete with electrode, photodiode, solenoid-magnet. It sounded like he was showing a picture, but I had audio only. The tricorder is a central part of their (new) strategy. Apparently they want to be a clearinghouse for medical testing information. He was talking about putting the information onto the internet and "thin clients". It was somewhat confusing to me, and he said there would be more information in the breakout session. Did anyone attend the breakout session? I'm really curious about what the new plan is.
