Santiago, Would you mind sharing the parts of Luthers quotes you agree with. Was it burning synagogues or throwing them from their homes. Hitler too felt Luther was on track enough to follow through with these evil plans. What a loving Christian attitude. Nancy

Santiago, no, in Luther's time the things he called for were not necessary or right! In his time, the Jews in Germany were simply a despised and persecuted minority. Whatever else he was, he was also a bigot and that's a plain and simple fact. Your need to defend Luther's obvious human failings is evidence that you have placed him on too high a pedestal.
