IT'S SARKIE'S BIRTHDAY TODAY!!! SURPRISE!!! Thought we'd forget, huh? My family always said I had the memory like an elephant (whatever that means), but Rudi almost spoiled the surprise last week with her post on the Maui thread. AND, you're our very FIRST OFFICIAL Y2K BIRTHDAY BABY!!! Cool, huh? Does it get any better than that? IMVHO, you are one of the "premier" posters on SI with FOUR THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY-FOUR POSTS (as of last night)!!! WOW!!! Heck, I'm only up to about 155 posts so far, and I now know why I should have taken that typing class back in high school (but I'm REALLY wickedly fast with a mouse). And I'm up to almost 15 wpm now, however I still can't spell worth a damn, and I'll NEVER catch up to you! You've graced many boards on SI with your wisdom, intelligence, patience, great stock picks, and humor. Heck, you even started the CHTR thread. And then you got me to buy hundreds of thousands of shares at the IPO. Thanks to you, I am now so filthy rich, my friends can't stand me anymore, but I sure seem to have a lot more relatives (whom I never knew I had) coming out of the woodwork, all asking for huge loans. I think CHTR is up almost 1/16 today, so multiplying that times my 10 million shares (thanks to you), I guess I can now FINALLY retire! <VBG> NOW, let's all sing in unison throughout all of cyberspace,HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! H.A.P.P.Y...B.I.R.T.H.D.A.Y...D.E.A.R...S.A.R.K.I.E ! ! ! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!!!! And MANY happy returns! I hope you have a wonderful day. . .ALL DAY LONG! Roger #NinerFortyNiner :))) And thanks again for the "heads-up" helping me get my first (and only) personal "minor" grub #949 on the CHTR thread. PS. Looking forward to meeting you at the GNET shareholder's meeting on March 17th. Perhaps you'll teach me how to golf during the "GNET Shareholder's Golf Tournament," following the meeting. Although at the moment both Mark Twain an I are in complete agreement, "Golfing is a good walk spoiled." But, WE COULD BE WRONG! <g> PPS. I posted this yesterday PST (and realize you're on the same coast as I am), however as SI seems to be on EST, I thought date would be correct anyway. And, I don't plan to be up in time for the market's open. <g>
