OT: Digital cameras.

I'm in the same boat. This might help.

I was trying to find the PowerShot since it had a 4x zoom and a USB interface...All but the Olympus have a USB. [USB happens to be a priority after quality, since I'm sick and tired of resolving IRQ conflicts.]

Good luck and a Merry Xmas.

I have a Sony Mavica digital model FD81 camera... the camera takes a floppy and you can load that right into your pc to look at without requiring any additional paraphernalia... other cameras require cards that can get pretty expensive, the floppy is very cheap... also, the Sony has a smart rechargeable battery which you can use for years... it comes with the camera, other camera eat batteries like candy..... BTW, the Sony also records sound and can take up to a 60 second MPEG.. all on a floppy which goes right into the camera.....

You can post messages at this site and get answers from Sony Mavica owners...
