This stock is remarkably undervalued. Price/Book Value = .55 The fiscal 1997 results were just released. You can read the full 10-K at Edgar Online. They made .07/share for the year compared to a .13/share loss last year. In the last two quarters they have made .02 and .07 respectively and they are no where near being fully invested. The next quarterly (June quarter) report should be out around August 15. It has been mentioned to me by others reading this thread that the stock is so low because the stock price of Independence Brewing Company has fallen from 5 to 1 1/4. This does not hurt WCAP's earnings. WCAP's book value is 2.11 and growing.

London Pacific - quietly holds stakes in a number of upcoming internet ipos.

LPGLY - Holds 15% of upcoming IPO Net Perceptions (also owned by Hummer Wimbald and Vulcan Ventures). Holds a number of other so far undisclosed internet investments. MV is approx $250m. Net Perceptions alone will make a significant difference to the present price of $14, IMO. Anyone have any other info on the company?

Sure I was trading stocks in 1997 and 1998.
Sure I could afford to buy 10,000 shares of WCAP in 1997 and 1998 (first half) when it was trading $1 - $2.

Well, bought some at 18 1/2 today.

Looks like this thread is dead.
Am I talking to myself??
