Yea, I also had problems placing a few orders - it seemed like HQ never "heard" my request, only to have it appear minutes later under open orders. Of course, by then I had already placed another order.
If the system is working right, and you try to sell more shares than you own - it won't allow the order. But today, I ended up with an extra sell order. No harm, because the I sold with the second order (placed only a few seconds after the first - you know how it is, when its time to get out, its time to get out!!!). The original sell order showed up a few minutes later, but the price had long since moved down.

Did you buy into the RNWK collapse?? I was too scared to buy the stock, but I did pop for an out of the $ Jan. call (RNWK was 129 when I bought). Just posted 142 15/16 on the after-mkt. Rumors about losing their deal with YHOO, and from the look of the daily chart (recent weakness) there is an outside chance it could be true. 'Course, Christmas break is the best time for the shorts to float a rumor like that, with the pro's gone and nobody but us ballistic looney day traders around!!!

Merry Christmas! Jerry

Marshall,

Scary thing just happened to me with MyTrack! Logged on to my account and got the usual MyTrack screen with a list of stocks that I am tracking. I then clicked on the MyTrade button and went in to see my Account Info. To my amazement, THE ACCOUNT NUMBER WAS NOT MINE EVEN THOUGH THE FIRST MYTRACK SCREEN HAD MY STOCKS LISTED!!!! I then checked the account number on the top lefthand corner and, sure enough, it wasn't mine!!!

Bottom line - SOMEONE ELSE COULD POTENIALLY BE TRADING ON MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY CONSENT AND COULD BE VIEWING SENSITIVE INFORMATION!!!

Food for thought??

Sue :)
