Happy holidays to all! Enjoy the opportunity to spend time with friends and family. And if anyone is traveling, have a safe trip.

Best wishes, Ken.

Heinz, you've probably seen the M3 numbers by now.

Dec. 06 6405.0
Dec. 13 6449.0

A large one week gain -- precisely when the NDX showed
new life. I was just glancing over the M3 numbers from
the Fed Web Site which I saved from last week and I noticed
that the historical M3 numbers are a little different this
week. It's not a big difference but it seems strange. What
is the sense of having historical data if the Fed changes
it every week? Did they change the way M3 is computed? Why
would M3 data from months ago be different this week from
what it was last week. I don't get it.
