Right after I got married, my wife's car (the one I gave her) died on the railroad tracks... Needless to say she was able to restart it and move it off but thats very scary as it was a major amtrak route. We bought her a new car (automatic) the next day....

the worst date I ever had was when I took this girl (not my wife as we were not serious at that point) on a hiking trip and it was after we got to the face of the cliff ready to climb down did I find she had this fear of heights. I'm afraid of heights too but I don't let it stop me from skydiving (skydiving is a lot of fun!)... We ended up driving all the way back to my beach apartment and didn't do much else because she was scared of our (a bachelor pad) ferret... The whole date was a disaster and I'll take the blame for everything. but I have no regrets....
