Interface Systems Inc (INTF)

INTERFACE SYSTEMS INC said it had sold its printed circuit board subsidiary, IGK Industries Inc., for undisclosed terms. Interface, which is turning itself into a software-focused company, did not name the purchaser but said it was "a seasoned executive in the printed circuit board business." Interface President and Chief Executive Officer Robert Nero said in a statement that the sale is effective immediately. Interface's software-based technology lets Internet applications access information stored on legacy systems. The company specializes in Internet bill presentment and payment and also electronically delivers bills, statements and other legacy content. (Reuters 07:34 AM ET 12/23/99)
