Some great work on Yahoo by somedaytheywillhavitit. I am jealous that he scooped me. Not really.

Here is something to think about:

Why is Rick Whittington talking about our little XICO? Well some of you may remember that Rick was with SNDV before he went to try his hand in the hedge fund business.

Now this is complete speculation on my part, but remember when I posted earlier that Raphie told me a few years ago that he knew some people at SNDV and when the time was right, he would have them (SNDV) on board? Well, at the time he told me that, Rick was with SNDV. Could it be that Rick was one of the people Raphie knew and now Rick is interested in XICO because Raphie has given him the word?

Six months ago XICO couldn't get anyone on the street to give them the time of day! I am just trying to figure out why we now have one of the best tech firms (SNDV) covering them and Rick Whittington (one of the best tech analyst on the street) making positive comments about them.

I think you know what I think? 1) There is clearly something going on and 2) I better be on the lookout for MONT on my level 2 screen.

Also, if you review the trading activity @ nasdaqtrader.com, you will see that DLJ did 35,000 shares as a non registered MM in Nov. Do I have to be on the lookout for them also?

Man, this is getting interesting!!

Again, everyone have a Merry Christmas.

PS - Joseph, still think this is a rising tide lifts all boats move? Wrong!
