Ted,
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe Microsoft ever had a market cap of $14.4 Billion without earning even 1 cent. With the lock-up period ending, I've been looking for a good place to call the top, and today pushed me over the edge. I'm short at 605, looking to cover at 350. The key here is in your own comment: "I have been forced to hold for tax reasons." You and a thousand other people.....the january effect this year will be remarkably different from past years, I predict.

Ted Downs, the number of people waitinfg on the sidelines to buy from you should you decide to sell. Not just this thread but also elsewhere, there are stories of people like yourself who sold to lock in profits only to realize that they made a mistake by allowing quick profits to overtake their failure to see the greater benefit of holding on for the long term.
