for my trading style (mostly options), PT has a great platform for doing that. especially for equity options since their app (not webbrowser) allows you to direct a trade to a specific exchange.
their service/support stinks.
don't expect to talk to a live broker.
there's an SI thread on them, but is a little quiet.
I used BrownCo for awhile too... the 2 things I didn't like about them (for my kind of trading) is confirmations were spotty (esp. the first 30 min at the open) and I couldn't get UROUT cancellations.
otherwise, I think Brown is probably the best overall broker for position trading. no broker is perfect.

i just happened to call into PT to ask about something else, and they told me about a new version that does contingent and stop orders.
they faxed me a few sheets on it and wanted me to sign something, so any day now I should be getting it.
the writeup implies that they still will not take stop or gtc orders for naz stocks, but they will for options... ain't that a scream. :-)
