Jean Boulle made a fortune on DFI the first time. And while I believe that he has the best idea of what DFI is sitting on, I don't believe that he wants to own any more. With the purchase of ODM from the grasp of TransHex, NAMCO has become the "big little guy" and I think they want to rival DeBeers. By acquiring DFI their reserves will only get bigger and better. You have to remember that they (NAMCO) has an option on just under 10% of DFI from the old Benco stake. The big thing is that NAM II will be in the water mining soon, and it will recover up 40% more diamonds then any thing DeBeers (or anybody else) has. So even thought DFI has richer reserves, NAMCO can yield as much on inferior property. I think that unless DFI gets back up to 2.30+ somebody will make a run at them. I still belive that based on NAMCO's valuation, DFI should be $4-$6 can. But since I own a good piece (for me) I probably am to optimistic.
