Kyros,

Thanks. I hope your premise is right - that most folks still don't understand the value of PALM yet and once they do the dd they'll get in. Was it MA that was predicting $60 by February??? I hope he is right. I can't see any reason that he wouldn't given your premise.

Well, gotta run.. Merry Christmas to everyone :)

OG

You might have a chance next week...I am waiting to get substantial long position. Right now I am excited about CPQ ready to break out. What a striking similarity in this duo, both have portfolio of impressive products, tons of cash and lousy management. May be that is where you get the bargain.
It is hard to find companies with good products but lousy management.

>>I think the reason to buy now is that the full value of Palm IS NOT YET priced in. <<

I think one of the key reasons that made investors felt uncomfortable were 3COM failed to price PALM clearly. I meant to tell investors how many PALM shares they could get from each COMS share. With knowing nothing about the results they could get, investors would not make their mind. EricB was trying to use the 80% after IPO shares of PALM to lift the prices of COMS sounded smart, but was indeed very foolish.
