Hello Fritz-

Nice of you to remember me. Dagwood is 87 years old now. Two years ago he broke his hip running into the mailman, and had to retire. He and Blondie are enjoying a peaceful retirement life now. I turned 107 last month, but I feel great and I'm still running the business. Alexander (Dagwood's oldest) works for me now, er, he did until I fired him yesterday, but I'll hire him back today. You may be interested to know that Daisy, now 57, recently gave birth to her 37th litter of puppies, all of whom are doing just fine. Cora (104 and feisty as ever) sends her best, and we both wish you a Very Happy Holiday!

J.C.
