CPQ, reiterating buy. Scott Greenberg Compaq NYSE:CPQ Technology \| Quote \| News \| Research Dec 23 1999 Compaq (CPQ), looking stronger, reiterating buy. CPQ's technical pattern is looking better and better with higher lows and higher highs, it has just broken out of its most recent triangle pattern. It is transitioning its model to become more and more made-to-order (heed its recent deal with InaCom) and is adopting a very aggressive strategy towards making the Web an integral part of the execution of its strategic vision. Look for the company to make some important announcements in regards to the particulars of these transitions at its analyst meeting on January 28th. We will feel even more confident about the doubling of CPQ when some of the uncertainties regarding the details of its strategy are resolved.
