all these comments about guys being better off having just bought and held up until now --- sure it's true, but these guys will be buying on the way down just as they have on the way up. There's a few smart cookies out there who got out at various stages, but let's face it -- If very many had banked their profits we wouldn't have a runaway market like we do now. For a total collapse of the indices all we need is 2 or 3% of folks deciding to lock in their gains next year -- if that happens, it'll be all over ...
