The Netwinder is a Failure

Corel failed to deliver the Netwinder, they had one person buy it if I recall correctly, then dumped it. Now somebody suggested that a box that costs over $1000 and is impotent constitutes a successful product? Sorry, but I can go down to Fry's and slap together parts for a box that is several orders of magnitude more powerful for $500, including Linux.

Paul,

Do you really think that Corel realizes that what is being sold is support? Could having no actual development effort in terms of Linux itself have tipped management off to the brilliant conclusion you are crediting them with. It's like an auto-dealership realizing they are servicing and selling cars rather than designing and building them. What brilliance they must have to be able to arrive at that conclusion. Too sarcastic? Not really given the laughable nature of your comment. Paul, you're being an apologist, and the schmoozing is eating away at your credibility. Go ahead and tell everybody that I must be a paid short seller or a disgruntled employee, that always works.

I agree Paul, so do investors I guess, thats why Corel is looking to open above the level they were at when they warned about the loss. Amazing market!
