Technology to Deliver e-Business Solutions

Strategic Alliance Paves Way for Viador e-Business Portal Solution Being
Available on the Desktops of ACS' Extensive Fortune 1000 Client Base

DALLAS, Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- ACS (NYSE: ACS), one of the largest
information technology outsourcing companies in the United States, and Viador
Inc.[TM] (Nasdaq: VIAD), a leading provider of enterprise portals, announced
today a strategic partnership to integrate Viador's enterprise portal
technology with ACS applications and services to deliver outsourced e-business
solutions on the Internet.
Through this groundbreaking agreement, ACS will extend and deploy the
Viador E-Portal Suite(TM) to its global client base as a new automated
solution for a rapid, cost-effective method of achieving e-business
competitive advantages. ACS will host and deploy this solution to its clients
as a strategic anchor platform to provide end-users a single, secure and
personalized point of entry via the web that combines their enterprise
information, applications and external Internet content into a single
enterprise portal interface.
"There are significant emerging market trends that suggest that outsourced
or initially hosted e-business infrastructure solutions are the way to go when
organizations are trying to establish and/or transform their business in
today's fast moving web-based, Internet world. The core reasons for these
emerging trends is the fast pace of change and complexity of transformational
e-business technologies and infrastructure, and the transformational speed
required to move into and stay competitive in today's new online business
ecosystem," noted Stephen M. Clancy, a Principal Analyst with GartnerGroup,
Dataquest IT Services research. "ACS brings both IT infrastructure and
business process management experience and expertise to the new web-based,
business infrastructure requirement. The synergy of ACS and Viador coming
together could signal a whole new approach to how outsourcers address the
Internet in the future."
As a leading outsourcing organization, with a 12-year proven model of
delivering large-scale, hosted IT solutions, ACS plans to introduce Viador's
E-Portal Suite to its customer base of Fortune 1000 companies, representing
industries in financial services, healthcare, insurance, communications,
transportation, energy, manufacturing, retail and government. ACS and Viador
will collaborate to develop and build custom portal and web-based applications
solutions. ACS will provide ASP services to Viador. ACS' clients have
invested in legacy systems and applications and ACS actively seeks solutions
to protect those investments. With the client demand for web access to this
information growing quickly, ACS partnered with Viador to provide its clients
with a robust and scalable portal infrastructure.
"We are offering Viador's portal technology to deliver e-business
outsourced solutions. We did not form this partnership simply to resell
Viador's technology, but rather to build a completely integrated process for
our clients to access business critical information," said Jeff Rich,
president and CEO of ACS. "Viador's E-Portal Suite is the best enterprise
portal solution we found of the many vendors we evaluated. Viador's
extensible and scalable portal enables us to easily integrate the
applications, information, and external content our customers expect from us.
In addition, Viador's ability to provide tightly integrated business
intelligence capabilities that access a mix of platforms and databases were
major factors in our decision to partner together."
ACS provides full service outsourcing solutions to its clients. In
addition to its large network of secure enterprise data centers, the Dallas-
based outsourcer provides a full suite of Internet development and deployment
services, and has the depth and breadth of expertise to help enterprises
implement and scale e-commerce and B2B solutions quickly and reliably. ACS
hosts a wide variety of systems including mission-critical applications that
end-users need such as: SAP, Peoplesoft, Oracle, manufacturing systems and
custom built applications. The ACS hosting facilities encompass a full range
of services, including NT, UNIX/LINUX and mainframe systems that operate
virtually all major database and business software packages.
"This partnership is aimed at setting the standard for outsourcers who are
developing the next phase of their Internet technology offerings," said Stan
Wang, president & CEO at Viador. "As the trusted full-service IT outsourcer
for many of the world's largest companies, ACS offers a natural delivery
channel for widespread deployment of our solution, as well as a professional
services group with industry expertise and technical skills. This
relationship is further evidence that our strategy to partner with top
companies providing e-business solutions can be a strong contributing factor
to Viador's growth."
To meet the demand for enterprise portal hosting services by ACS' global
clients, the company will support and deploy this new offering worldwide
through ACS' sales and support team at key facilities of the company's
Internet solutions division. ACS and Viador are expected to work together in
joint marketing, sales and education efforts. The new solution will be
available in February 2000.

The valuation here is starting to look tempting. Earlier I indicated that in my opinion their IPO was about 6 months too soon, well the company has performed quite well for 6 months, and is now worth the IPO price, in my opinion. I'm looking to add under 10, but it seems to have good support here at 12.
