Very interesting development. Wonder if the market will take this as evidence of further confidence in S3's fundamentals or as disappointment that VIA isn't buying S3 out of a lackluster business in graphics chips?

Where are these shares coming from? I have some, can I sell them to via @13.5?

Are these newly issued shares on top of the 75M?

VIA ... ... purchasing 10.8 million shares for US$145.8 million, or US$13.5 per share.
