A rose, is a rose, is a rose.

Oil off the market, is oil off the market, is oil off the market. Whatever the lag time. Maybe Brent goes through the roof? Lower imports from Europe?

Keep in mind that Iraq was exporting 2.3 mbpd, they are trying to get back up to 2.1. When and if they get there (2.1 mbpd) it still is a "cut in production". While other sources of oil imported to the US will still be available, imo, they will be available only at a higher price. I think that was the thrust of the CBS article. But yeah, the copy writers need to leave the "Irish" out of their coffee. <g>
