Dear M: For some strange reason, so far PADDY has ignored the Christmas tree. He looks at it some times and the packages under it then goes around it all. Lucky for us. Here is a story I was told at the Airport while waiting to pick him up. This young man came and said is that Wheaten Terrier yours, I said yes. He said, "I love Wheatens they are the BEST varmit dog, when I was young we had rats in our barn so we got 3 cats. Cats didnt kill the rats so we got a Wheaten, the Wheaten killed all three cats AND THE RATS TOO. I thought of you and Mephisto and thought to myself, should I tell her this story, she may not like PADDY anymore. Incidentally, this young fellow was picking up a Rotweiller!! JDN
