I appreciate the warm greetings from everyone here. . . and am touched by the affection. In 1999 we started something. As Individual Investors. . .we are no longer suckers. . . but have learned a number of different ways to beat the system and walk away winners. The individual investor IS able to compete with the Wall Street Fat Cats. . . and come out victorious! I have enjoyed receiving notes and messages telling me how much money you guys have made this past year. It is truly amazing and I am proud to have been of assistance in pulling it together. . . with the assistance of our esteemed group of thread leaders to which we are all quite grateful. . . the amount of work being done behind the scenes by our leaders is substantial. . .and we greatly appreciate their efforts. Yes, I love hearing about 500% gains in portfolios for the year. . . . But the posts I enjoy most are those that illustrate how lives have been changed for the better! Because we can't take that money with us. . . but if it helps us to achieve life goals like sending a kid to college or if it helps us to bring joy to those we love, then I am truly thrilled.
