Robert- I am trying to come up with an estimate for 2000. Total unit capacity for VCO's is pegged at 18-20 million units in 2000 (up from 10 million in 1999) a number I have heard from sources. Of course the company will try to secure business for producing as many of the higher margined units as possible. I still beg to differ with you that the company has a presence worth mentioning in the handset market mainly because they have a major limitation in production capacity compared to actual demand and the company wants to sell higher margined products with what they have. I know that 2 VCO's are required per handset and 1999 had over 200 million units produced worldwide. I also inquired about using a contract manufacturer or the possibility of really expanding production from within or an related acquisition because the spike in the stock price has aided the company in raising more capital. I think the company can take away market share from the leader if they had the financial resources to do so.
