Bosco,

I doubt that splitting will do much for the stock other than provide a temporary bump upwards because I don't see the split increasing the stocks "liquidity" by much. Any prudent institution that does its DD on VARL should be purchasing for at least the medium-term -- 1 year. (I know to some this is the long-term.) Then there are individual investors, such are ourselves, who have enjoyed VARL's rise from 6-10 up to 36, yet have owned the stock less than 1 year. If I were considering selling, the tax bite would stop me in the short-term. Why lose 39.6% of my gains to Uncle Sam when I can wait and only lose 20%?

Besides, from an economic standpoint we're dealing with supply and demand that is in our favor. Currently, the demand for shares of VARL is high and the supply is low; so, this condition should have contributed to VARL's price rise.
